"My drawings look relatively simple to make, but capturing the true essence of the shape in just one line is quite challenging.
My style is minimal and straight forward. The line is smooth and keeps the exact same thickness throughout the whole piece. The line does not connect the beginning with the end, leaving the image open. The line is clean and easy to retrace for the viewer. The work is super consistent and usually evolves around nonliving objects as well as living creatures, including plants, animals, and humans. One line drawings date back to the early 20th century, made by Pablo Picasso. He took a complex, realistic example and simplified it into one single unbroken line. Therefore, I am not the only one, and definitely not the first person to make these kind of drawings. But my drawings are different in a way that I illustrate quotes from successful people from around the globe. Also, my drawings are primarily addressed to my kids leaving them pieces of advice on how to live their life to the fullest." |
